Appeals and objections

Based on my decades of exclusive practice as an attorney before an appellate court, I have extensive experience in the area of reviewing, filing, and defending against appeals and objections and with the particular procedural-law issues arising in proceedings concerning appeals on points of fact and law (Berufung) and appeals on points of law (Revision), especially the requirements for the admissibility of supplementary factual submissions in proceedings concerning appeals on points of fact and law.

As a result, I am also engaged by attorneys, government agencies, and insurers to review an appeal’s prospects of success and to implement the appeal proceedings even in cases I have not handled in the first instance.

According to German procedural law, appeals on points of law before the Federal Court of Justice in civil matters can only be implemented by attorneys who are only admitted to practice before the Federal Court of Justice. In these cases, I advise my clients on selecting the legal representative best suited to their requirements, and upon the client’s request, I also conduct the correspondence with this person.
